So proud of how far their learning has come. As we gather together for our Christmas dinner, we celebrate not only the season, but the incredible progress, curiosity, and determination our children show every day. Celebrating their growing minds and big achievements, we are so proud of all they have learned and the confidence they continue to build as they move forward. 🎄✨

Christmas trip to “another world’ Soft play is more than just fun. As children climb, crawl, balance, and explore, they’re developing essential motor skills, coordination, and body awareness. The bright colours, textures, and spaces support sensory exploration, while shared play encourages confidence, emotional growth, and social understanding. Through movement and play, little ones build awareness of themselves, others, and the world around them — all while having the best time. 🎄✨

Today’s soft play trip was filled with movement, curiosity, and excitement. The children confidently wandered through the space, exploring their surroundings as they used their energy to climb, jump, crawl, and balance. Bursting with joy, they eagerly engaged with the sensory environments, pausing to observe themselves in the mirrors within their own areas, smiling and responding to their reflections. Each child explored at their own pace, demonstrating growing confidence, independence, and enthusiasm throughout their play.

A wonderful surprise made the day even more special when Santa Claus came to visit. The children were delighted as they met Santa, took photographs with him, and chatted excitedly about what they would like for Christmas. This unexpected moment brought lots of smiles, laughter, and festive cheer, making the trip a truly memorable experience for everyone. 🎄🎅

This morning was so fun!

Together we gathered our planting tools, seeds/bulbs, supplies and created a very inviting environment to learn and discover.

Using the amazing plant life cycle stones we discussed and role played the journey of planting and growing. We turned ourselves from seeds imbedded into moist soil and into tall blossomed flowers 🌺

Our curious minds got to work, whilst the children used their gentle hands to plant and water the seeds we labelled each pot with images and names of the plants that will soon become seen. 🌸🦚🥰

I honestly had tears in my eyes when personally created this reel and scrolling right to the bottom of my camera roll to where it all started. The very first children we took care of are now 5/6 years old and have moved on to the next chapter of their lives. As it continuous to rotate every time we step up again to give every child the best and endless opportunities they deserve.

I could not even get close to fitting in everything and all the amazing captures we have taken in the last five years. But here’s a sneak peak from 2019 when we first opened right before the first official Covid lockdown up to the current year.

Thank you families for trusting us with your little ones, we love them like they’re our own and we will continue to honour your support and love and give them the best early years they could ever wish.

We can’t wait to continue the countless happy moments and grow with every little one that enters our setting from their first scary settling in days to their graduation and forever bonds. 🧑‍🎓

Our Lidl takeovers are the best!

Today our petites teamed up as group A and group B where group A were baking spongy cupcakes back at the setting and group B popped to lidls to grab some ingredients for our secret butter cream recipe 🤩.

Seems like both groups had great fun! Some sung songs to Lidl’s and scanned away their groceries whilst others were getting their hands messy and cracking eggs ☺️

Children feel a range of emotions, but often cannot express, interpret or process them like us. You often find that they can identify two major emotions ‘happy’ and ‘sad’ at an early age.

These wonderful basket of inviting stones that we have decorated will encourage children to reflect on their emotions and encourage positive expression and understanding. Children will gain a connection with their sense of self and how to handle and display emotions positively.

We made Play-dough today! A slight guess with the ingredients but it turned out to be a perfect texture of softness. Most importantly the children enjoyed needing the dough and mixing the ingredients together before play. We love adding flowers into our play-dough 🌸 to brighten up our play.

This week the children have been creating their very own scenarios of rescuing people and animals in danger ⚠️ my favourite was the kitten stuck in the tree 🌳 and the child who had a wobbly tooth 🦷.

We added a realistic approach with a dressing up wardrobe and zapped straight into character to test our skills and help our community.

A throwback to last week’s nature trails through Morden Hall Park 🌳 🌾🪵

A wonderful time spend walking through nature. During our time at Morden Hall Park we skipped through a field of rose plants, climbing logs, exploring under trees, climbing frames, hunting for different shaped leaves, admiring views over lakes and bridges and… A great way to end it with a picnic to feed our hungry belly’s 🐾🦥

A second tuff tray is filled with natural leaves, flowers, stones and planting pots with tools and scissors for creativity.

Let’s seed our SOURSUP. Soursup is native to the tropical regions of America and the Caribbean with huge health benefits. They grow best in tropical countries so we are hoping that through the summer we will have some luck in the growing process of our Soursup project. With the inspiration and research of it’s astonishing health benefits we have managed to source some in the UK and have protected the seeds to try and grow it ourselves.
